what a great day at north point!  i love this church family.  i was going to list off all the things that i appreciate about doing ministry together here…but i thought i’d give you a chance to do it first.  what are some of the things you like about north point?  what keeps you coming?  what excites you about our future?  how do you see god at work in our family?

come on.  if you haven’t got your feet wet, this is a great time to do it!  leaving a comment doesn’t get any easier…

The fact that my volume is tolerated if not enjoyed.

I like that the sermons and worship relate to normal people. From someone with limited knowledge of the word to the old folks. Everyone can find something in the message.

not to mention what other church could you go to and be thought how to throw a circle change and a curveball in the sermon?

What keeps me coming ot NP is the that as a church – we are the real deal – “guts” and all.

I’ve never before been part of a church that is as transparent with where it’s been, where it is and where’s its going.

It’s refreshing to see leaders being able to be humble enough to not feel that they have to be plastic or perfect – shellacking on faith and belief on Sunday morning to keep the appearances up.

I just like being able to move and flow from a “church building” to my life without hitting a stained glass barrier, dress codes, or a bunch of unspoken rules in order to worship God.

There is not a “it” crowd at our church that you have to try to be apart of. Everyone is available for a conversation. I’m lovin’ it!

I’ve been to churches where you wonder…is Jesus really here…I know that sounds extremely judgmental, but if you’ve been to one of these churches you know what I mean. Jesus is present at NP, in worship, in relationships, in blogs, in emails, in personal interactions, in teaching and preaching, in lives…in the things that are good/easy/fun/enjoyable and also the hardships.

NP is a place where I can jump around barefoot and sing in front of people without anyone thinking anything of me except that I’m praising my God. I love that freedom and that outlet, and the opportunity to worship with a group.

I hope people feel invited to join in….

NPCC challenges me every week through sermon messages and bible studies in my walk during the week.
I find myself energized and inspired to go out into the world and be the man that God wants me to be.

I love the fact that we don’t take our “stuff” too seriously. Like letting kids play dodgeball in the auditorium. It’s great.

I also love that we hold kids in high regard. It’s an awesome environment to do youth ministry in.

There. I got my feet wet.

The fact that I’m free to come as I am, worship the Lord freely (without being thought of as weird), and “the family” I’ve found…

I love feeling loved every time I show up! I love having a family who is excited to see me whenever I am home.
