I never met a plant that grew by constantly changing the soil.
I can’t imagine that these worship leaders in their sweet spot are going to grow much. Most growth happens when we are uncomfortable with the way things are in order to change.
If they want fresh hearts for worship they need to teach leaders how to not get caught up in the doing and how to be and renew themselves daily in the presence of God.
If they want passion they need to get people outside of themselves and stop thinking that the sweet spot is the only goal to work towards.
I can see the logic but also sense a decision made in convenience and from the desire to avoid hurt/betrayal…do not see much wisdom.
I am a husband, a dad, a spankin' new grandpa (big papi), a pastor, a teacher, a fellow-wanderer, a baseball junkie, a lover of 24, waffles, the first day of fall , loud music, kids, play, the grace of God, and St. Augustine grass!

How did that comment get with Holden’s picture and not with blog on the revolving worship leaders? Can you delete that?
