Marriage Tuesday

here’s a little checklist for you to take inventory of what you are bringing to the table in your marriage…or what you intend to bring someday.   the bible speaks clearly that we are to actively get rid of the characteristics in our lives that are not consistent with the character of christ…and work hard to develop those attributes that best reflect the nature of god and the person of jesus.  paul puts it clearly in the following passage:

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;  to be made new in the attitude of your minds;  and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.  Ephesians 4:22-24
